Trade Certification

ZCA has partnered with North America’s Building Trades Unions (NABTU)’s nationwide Apprenticeship & Training Programs. This comprehensive apprenticeship readiness program provides our students with an opportunity to graduate with invaluable skills and enhanced career opportunities as well as to earn family-supporting wages and benefits within the Construction Industry.

*There is a fee associated with this program, which is not included in our annual tuition.

*Laptop computer is required.

Required Courses

• Construction Industry Awareness
• Construction Trades Awareness
• Construction Health and Safety
• Tools and Materials
• Basic Math for Construction
• Heritage of the American
• Worker Diversity in the Construction Industry

Elective Courses

• Blueprint Reading
• Green Construction
• Financial Literacy

Summer Trades Program

Students will work with a different trade each week (i.e. welding, electrical, carpentry, etc.).

• Duration: 6 weeks
• Part-time, Hourly Wage: $12
